Surf Conditions in Tamraght
The best time to surf in Tamraght is October to April, when Atlantic swells create consistent waves for all skill levels. Morning sessions often feature light offshore winds, producing smooth, glassy waves. Water temperatures range from 18C to 22C, suitable for shorty or full wetsuits.
During the summer months (May to September), waves are smaller and ideal for beginners or longboarders. Nearby surf breaks such as Anchor Point, Devil's Rock, Banana Beach, and Panorama offer a mix of beach and reef waves for a variety of experiences.

We offer high-quality surf lessons for all levels at Tamraght and nearby Taghazout beaches. This includes group lessons for beginners and surf coaching for intermediate and advanced surfers. Tamraght offers a variety of waves, from mellow beach breaks perfect for beginners to challenging reef breaks for more experienced surfers. Our focus is on providing professional surf coaching in Morocco with certified and experienced instructors. We run weekly theory surf sessions with presentations and video analysis to help you progress faster during your surf camp week. Level 1 - Surfing for Beginners
Maybe it's your first time surfing or you have tried a few times before. Perhaps you need some extra support perfecting your technique and would like to increase your surfing knowledge? If so, this level is perfect for you!
Join our beginner surf lessons in Morocco! You will learn all the beginner surf basics in a safe and supportive environment. You will also learn about the surf equipment and how to take care of it properly, as well as safety information and surf etiquette. You will gain an understanding of how the wind, tide, swell and currents interact with each other and how it affects the waves you surf.
When you complete this level you will be able catch a nice selection of waves and understand surf hazards and currents. You will have sufficient practice of paddling, board control, standing up on the board, correcting your balancing stance and even starting to make small manoeuvres.
Level 2 - Surfing for Intermediates
You have surfed many times, have a good paddling technique and have already mastered the basic surfing knowledge (waves, winds, swell, currents etc.) If you are ready to bring your surfing skills to the next level then this is the one for you.
Our at surf school in Morocco, you will be more focused on catching unbroken green waves while continuing to make you comfortable on the waves you choose to surf. The intermediate surfing lessons will dive deeper into your surfing knowledge. You will learn how to read tide charts alongside the swell forecasts. This surfing knowledge will help you determine the best times for your surfing experience. We will use tools such as video coaching and analysis to accelerate your progress.
When you complete this level you will be able to catch unbroken green waves without assistance while generating speed and cleaner manoeuvres as well as acquire spatial awareness of the line up.
Level 3 - Surfing for Advanced Intermediates
At this stage you are surfing regularly, have gained a lot of experience and are able to catch waves alone on both sides. You know how to paddle out safely, get to the line up comfortably. You new feel ready to start making more advanced surf manoeuvres to perfect your surf style . You will have personalized coaching, through a continuous cycle of in depth video analyses, review and feedback.
We will focus on your timing and mastering a powerful take off. You will be introduced to the bottom and top turn, cut back and re-entry manoeuvres. All the while staying mindful of other surfers in the line-up.

The surf house in Tamraght, Morocco is just a few minutes' walk from the beaches. It's the perfect base for your surf camp experience; catching the waves and meeting fellow surfers in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. You'll enjoy a welcoming communal space where guests gather to share meals, relax, and connect after a day on the water. The rooftop is prepared to receive the optional yoga classes and all the meals.
Our surf house has 10 private rooms and 3 shared rooms (with all rooms having a private bathroom).
Shared Rooms
The 3 different shared rooms have bunk beds for 4-, 6- and 8- people. Each cabin features a private curtain, power outlet, and reading light! Each person will have access to an individual locker to keep all belongings. Perfect choice for a solo traveller and excellent way to make new friends!

Panorama Point Female shared room
Panorama Point Female shared room has 3 bunk beds for a total of 6 people.
