Accommodation is Under Deck. "Under deck" cabins can be found below deck and are actually in the hull of the boat. Advantage of cabins situated below deck are sometimes more quiet (only fellow passengers who have booked below deck cabins will pass by and not all passengers from your ship as well as other ships when docked) and comfortable because they're situated on the sea level that chills the cabins and hallways below deck. Cabins below deck mostly have little portholes. All cabins come equipped with private shower/toilet and mostly bunk beds.
The crew does not enter your cabins during the cruise, so you need to keep your cabin clean by yourself.
Cabins are not air-conditioned, but salons and hallways below deck usually have air conditioning. Air conditioning is turned on only while the motor or generator works, or while the boat is connected to electricity in harbor. If the boat is docked at sea or in a smaller fish harbor that doesn't have an electricity plug, air conditioning is turned off, because otherwise the generator would disturb the peace and quiet.
For single travellers wishing a private cabin, a single supplement is available.
For the duration of the cruise you will be on one of our premium vessels. All of our premium boats are steel-hulled vessels with a traditional, yet modern look with accommodation in air-conditioned, spacious en-suite cabins with double or twin beds, a hairdryer and a safety deposit box. Premium vessels are 29 to 35m in length with cabins 8 to 14m2 in size. We do not know which boat you will be one until 2 weeks before departure. Boat owners are mostly captains for whom this job is a part of a family tradition, so it’s not rare that the crew members are part of one family. Depending on its size, your boat will have about five crew members. Usually that means a captain, a chef, a waiter and deck hands.
Transfer to and from the boat/harbor are NOT included in the price. You will have to make your own way to us!
2 X buffet breakfasts, 3 X three-course lunches, afternoon tea and coffee with biscuits, and complimentary drinking water are included.
Food onboard is similar to traditional Croatian food. Breakfast is a continental breakfast, and consists of tea and coffee, fruit juice, bread, butter, jam, and sometimes ham and cheese. Lunch is traditionally plentiful. It consists of soup or pasta as starter, a main dish with side dishes, salad and dessert. Main dish is two or three times weekly a fish, and in other cases meat or chicken. Side dishes are potatoes, cabbage and other vegetables. Dessert is fruit or cake. Dinner is not included because we encourage you to explore local restaurants.
