Ethnic London - The Hindu Temple

London is one of the most multicultural cities in the industrialized world; more than 300 different languages are spoken by more than 50 ethnic groups.
Many of these groups are concentrated in their own neighbourhoods and their presence is visible due to the selection of shops, restaurants and religious diversity.
On this tour you are given the opportunity to be acquainted with some of these local communities and get an insight in their religion and learn how they affect the city.

The Hindu Temple: Guided visit and tour of the Hindu Mandir Temple, the first traditional Mandir in Europe.
The Hindu Temple is decorated with beautiful carvings and has a permanent exhibition, Understanding Hinduism, providing an educative insight in Hinduism in general but also shows examples of India’s and famous Hindis’ considerable contributions to for instance mathematics, astronomy and religion.
