If you’d like to see more of Florence and its surroundings, you can take a scenic bike ride to the hills near Piazzale Michelangelo. While cycling in the city center is not recommended, it's ideal for those who want to explore the beautiful castles and villas located just a few kilometers outside Florence.

It is recommended to set aside 7 hours for the tour, which is approximately 20 km each way.
Mountain bikes are also available for sports activities—the area around Fiesole is perfect for mountain biking, with well-established cycling routes.
Helmets are included in the bike rental. For tours outside Florence, it is recommended to have a guide. When renting mountain bikes, an instructor is advised. Speak with your travel consultant to learn more about these options.
