Bangkok to Siem Reap Tuk Tuk Adventure

You will drive straight to the border town of Aranyaprathet, your entry gate to Cambodia. The journey will take approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival at the border, proceed through immigration on your own. 

Welcome to Cambodia! 

After crossing the border, meet your Tuk-Tuk driver who will escort you to the Banteay Chhmar community. Your Tuk-Tuk ride will take you through charming rural villages, picturesque rice fields, and past local homes, offering a glimpse into the daily lives of the people. Upon arrival in Banteay Chhmar, you'll be warmly welcomed into a charming homestay, where you will experience the genuine hospitality and warmth of the local community. Settle into your comfortable accommodations and prepare for an immersive cultural journey. 
After check-in and refreshing yourself, begin your tour by visiting Banteay Chhmar Temple and Ta Prohm Temple on foot. Your knowledgeable community guide will share the rich history of these ancient sites. Following the temple tour, continue your visit to the Soieries du Mekong Silk Center (SDM), where a group of skilled women create beautiful silk scarves. By visiting the Soieries du Mekong Silk Center, you will gain a deeper appreciation for the intricate work involved in silk weaving and the dedication of the artisans who keep this traditional craft alive. 
Later, return to your homestay to relax. In the evening, enjoy a delightful dinner at a community restaurant.

This morning, after breakfast, take a walk through the Banteay Chhmar market area to learn about the village and the daily lives of its residents. Later, continue your journey to Siem Reap. The route is scenic, passing through rural landscapes, small villages, and agricultural fields, offering a unique and immersive travel experience. 
Along the way, stop at Preah Net Preh to see the intricate stone carvings. You'll also have the chance to try traditional snacks called Kralan, which is sticky rice cooked in bamboo. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. You will arrive in Siem Reap later in the afternoon and will be dropped off at your accommodation in the evening at leisure.
