Astronomical Observatory is an institute within the department of physics, astronomy and applied computer science of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. It’s based at Fort Skala, about 10 km west of Cracow. The university was founded in 1364, the observatory in 1792. Since then, they have made observations of the sun, the moon, and Jupiter, etc. You will be guided by an English speaking member of university staff. You will have to get there by bus.
Busses are restricted in the central part of Krakow. This may mean that you are not able to drive completely to and from your choice of accommodation, if within central Krakow.
