Do you want to start your adventure under water in a place that gives you more than just fish and blue water? Learn to dive where history is surrounding you at depth with historic shipwrecks, artifacts buried on the seabed and enchanting blue holes leading you from the dry land, through the earth out into the ocean all quite amazing! But we have to highlight the feeling of diving ships on the bottom of the ocean. It is an intriguing experience that leaves a feeling of exploration and adventure in the diver. Something you simply must experience. It is not common to dive a wreck during the Open Water course, but in Malta, the wrecks are simply everywhere and some of them are at shallow depths, giving you the chance of a truly different first experience in diving.

Whether you are a wreck fanatic or not, the huge variety of shipwrecks will keep you enchanted throughout your trip. Some wrecks has incredible stories attached, others are so huge that their size are the overwhelming attraction. No matter what, the feeling of diving ships on the bottom of the ocean is an intriguing experience that leaves a feeling of exploration and adventure in the diver. Something you simply must experience.

The Maltese Islands also offer a lot to do before and after dives with superbly sunny weather, expansive beaches, a thriving nightlife and 7,000 years of intriguing history. Megaliths, medieval dungeons and Calypso's Cave – The Maltese Islands are positively mythic. The narrow meandering streets of their towns and villages are crowded with Renaissance cathedrals and Baroque palaces. As the countryside is dotted with the oldest known human structures in the world, the Islands have rightly been described as an open-air museum.
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most popular diving certificate worldwide. After completing this 4-5 day course you are certified to dive to 18 m independently with a buddy. This process is assisted by videos accompanying each chapter to reinforce what you have learned. The instructor reviews everything with you to ensure that everything required are confidently understood. The practical learning consists of pool sessions and four open water dives. Dive one and two are conducted at a depth of max 12 meters and dive three and four are conducted at max 18 meters. The final stage of the PADI Open Water course is an exam, which is a multiple choice exam covering all that you have learnt.

DIVE PACKAGE:
The PADI Open Water Course is performance based. That means you have to understand and pass the theory and perform the in-water skills correctly and with ease. Therefore, the itinerary can vary slightly from course to course. The course will take 4 to 5 days depending on the students enrolled.
